    Yoga Classes

    In-person classes offer a space to move, breathe, and be. From energizing flows to grounding restorative practices, each class is thoughtfully designed to meet you where you are. Expect intentional movement, breathwork, and community in welcoming environments.

    Utilizing the ancient technology of yoga and modern techniques - blending science and spirituality - to help manage disruptive conditions such as substance abuse, eating disorders, PTSD and other mental health disorders with a trauma-informed lens.

Classes range from gentle flows to strength-building sequences, sound baths, and meditations. All levels welcome.

  • What is Yoga Therapy?

    Yoga therapy is a mind-body practice that focuses on your physical, emotional and mental health. The practice uses movement, mindfulness, meditation, relaxation and pranayama (breathing exercises) to help you relax, relieve stress and manage underlying conditions or symptoms in addition to treatment by a healthcare provider.

    Carli provides private sessions to Rising Roads Recovery clients to support them in their recovery journey, either in managing substance abuse disorders, complex ptsd and trauma, and other mental health challenges.

  • Carli has been practicing Yoga Asana (movement) for over a decade, becoming deeply knowledgable of the psychosomatic benefits and deep healing offered with mindful movement. Through years of study, personal practice, and intensive training, she has developed a passion and gift for holding space for the healing, grounding, and deep release of the mental, emotional and physical bodies.

    Carli is trained in many styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative Yoga, all rooted in trauma-informed care principles. She is a certified Yoga Alliance instructor, receiving her 200-hour certification from Dharma Shakti of Yogalution Movement.

    While practicing Yoga with Carli, participants are offered a chance to explore somatic awareness, mindful breathing, asanas (or postures), and grounding meditation. These tools, combined with positive affirmations, create a sense of personal empowerment Carli aims to impart on each of her students for use on and off their yoga mats.
